Join us for a new Space Café event!
23 May 2024, 2 pm, University of Zurich Irchel Campus (or online via Zoom)

In the beautiful night sky, we not only see stars and planets, but can also observe more and more man-made satellites. But what about sustainability?

At this seminar, we will listen to Luc Piguet, CEO of ClearSpace, and Thomas Schildknecht, Astronomical Institute of the Université de Berne. At their focus: The (hidden) dangers of space pollution, satellite safety and innovative solutions for an organized, controlled and sustainable use of the space around Earth.
