πFor teachers who want to take part in the Astro Pi Challenge with their studentsπ
A team from the Lucerne University of Teacher Education and Technology is offering a workshop, on May 21, 2025(14:00 - 18:00 CET) in Luzern.
By combining scientific experiments (NT / NMG) and programming (MI), an integrative STEM promotion for different school levels (cycle 2 & 3, elective subject STEM etc.) within the topic of space is possible.
The Astro Pi computers
In this course, we introduce the Astro Pi Challenge and explore how it can be integrated into lessons across various levels (Cycle 2, Cycle 3, and Secondary II). Participants will learn to write programs in Python and engage in a hands-on workshop to deepen their programming skills while receiving concrete teaching materials for classroom use. The course also includes a guided tour of the BIOTESC control room.

The workshop is taking place in Luzern and will be conducted in German.
