Throughout the year, Space Exchange Switzerland takes part in major events across Switzerland, bringing space to life through talks, workshops, booths, clubs, and interactive activities for all ages.

For Kids
The Planet-Club introduces 2nd to 4th grade children to space through fun, hands-on activities, helping them explore space missions, technology, and science.
7-10 years old
THE GALAXY CLUB
For Juniors
The Galaxy-Club helps 5th to 9th grade students deepen their passion for space through telescope use, hands-on research, and meetings with scientists and peers.
10-15 years old
THE COSMOS CLUB
For Adults
The Cosmos-Club brings together space enthusiasts to explore the latest space discoveries, discuss their impact, and take part in citizen science projects.

When space meets the public
FANTASY BASEL:
Where Pop Culture Meets Space
For four years now, SXS has been part of Fantasy Basel, helping bring space exploration to thousands of visitors. Together with the Swiss Space Museum, NCCR PlanetS, and SKACH, we organize the Space Level, showcasing the Swiss space ecosystem through interactive experiences.
This year, visitors explored Earth observation with the NPOC, Mars missions with Girls Can Code, and met ODIN, the robot dog.
Air & Space Days
Transport Museum Lucerne
SXS takes part in the Air & Space Days at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, offering hands-on activities for young visitors and families. In 2025, children explored space weather and even built their own model of a solar eruption, making complex space science fun and accessible.

handson activities for education to share
Astroedu.ch brings together people and organizations involved in astronomy and space education across Switzerland. Members share ideas, educational activities, and best practices, helping inspire the public through observatories, science centres, and outreach events. The website also offers free space education resources for educators and enthusiasts.
