For those who may not be familiar with it, what is the IAC ?
The International Astronautical Congress (IAC) is the world’s leading space event, bringing together thousands of experts, decision-makers and innovators from across the global space community. Hosting this flagship congress would be a unique opportunity for Switzerland to showcase its space excellence, strengthen its ecosystem and place the country in the spotlight of the international space sector.
What makes the IAC 2029 edition so special ?
The Component Technology Board is responsible for the formulation of strategic programs and work plans for technology research and development in the area of European EEE space components. It is also responsible for the harmonization and co-ordination of the collectively funded European space component and technology research and the related development, evaluation, qualification and quality assurance activities.
